Supporting Earth Hour

At Silverhill we actively encourage children and parents to engage with environmental issues. Many iconic landmarks will be turning off their lights for Earth Hour, including Big Ben, Wembly, the Albert Hall and the BT tower. Why not turn off the lights and do something different for an hour? Have a late supper by candle light, play hide and seek in the dark, read a book in bed by torch light? Turn of your lights for an hour on Saturday 26th March at 8.30 in support of Earth Hour and tell us next week what you did with your hour!

Thank you to all who supported this event - we raised a total of £117.28p and the 290 pupils who took part will be added to the World Record.
