Tag Rugby

It's certainly been a very busy sporting week at Silverhill this week as our Tag rugby team joined in the fun! After several closely played draws, a couple of defeats and some fantastic wins the team made it through to the quarter finals! Well done team - Mr Turner and Mrs Brundish are immensely proud of you all!

Athletic stars

A huge well done to Eloise and Chloe who performed so well at the AAA Tom Pink Relays at the EIS last weekend!

Cyclo Cross competition

What a difference a week can make with the weather! This week our super six cyclo cross enthusiasts took part in the 2nd meet of the DCCSSP Cycle derby cyclo cross competition. After some super racing, the children collected a combined total of 35 point putting them in first place! Well done India, Luke, Elianne, Evie, Toby and Jacob!

Year 5 trip to Cadbury!

Cadbury UK

On Friday 11th March, year five ventured off to Bourneville in Birmingham to visit Cadbury World. Starting off deep in the heart of the Aztec Jungle, the children learnt all about the history of chocolate, and the build up of the Cadbury brothers' company! With a trip round the actual factory, a very sticky tasting session and a Bean to Bar talk, we came away with a really good understanding of the process of making Chocolate! We even got to visit the 4D cinema and go on a roller coaster of an adventure with the Mini Egg parrot! Snd, to top it all - free chocolate bars to bring home! A fabulous visit!
