On Tuesday the 22nd of March Silverhill
Primary took a team of 10 to the 1st round, of the Derby City Sports Partnership
Kwik Cricket tournament. We played 3 games against Mickleover, Dale A and St
James
Silverhill-Mickleover was a very close game with Mickleover just coming out on top.
Silverhill-Dale A Was a good game with some good Wickets being taken by both teams, but in the end Dale A came out on top.
Silverhill-St James Silverhill came out and bowled first taking a good amount of wickets away from St James. Ahead by 8 runs Silverhill came out to bat. Unfortunately no match for the superior bowling skills of St James primary and ending in a loss of just 4 runs.
Big congratulations to Kieron DuPlessis for hitting more 6's than anyone else in the tournament.
Also a huge Congratulations and best wishes to Dale who take both their A and B team through to round 2.
