Greek Day in Year 4

It was such a busy time in the run up to Christmas we nearly missed this one! Thank you to Kirthi for her bog write up!

On Monday 8th December the children in year 4 had a Greek Day. We came to school dressed in Ancient Greek style costume and did a variety of Greek activities. There was Greek dancing. We played Greek music and put Greek dance moves to it. Then there was Greek food tasting. We tried olives, feta cheese, humous and pitta bread. After the food we wrote down which one we liked best. Nearly everyone hated the olives! We also made a Greek pot and Tragedy and Comedy masks. Everyone really enjoyed the day and we learned lots of new things about Ancient Greece too.
