Over the summer holidays we
are asking that all children take part in the ‘Silverhill Summer Reading
Challenge’. The aim of the challenge is to get children to read at least six
books during the summer holidays. The purpose of this challenge is to promote a
healthy ‘love of reading’ and to encourage everyone to continue to practise
their reading skills during the holidays.
Please look
out for details of our Summer Reading Challenge in the information pack that was sent out in the last week of term,
explaining what is involved! There are books to be read and prizes to be
won!
