On Wednesday 13th January the Year 3 children had an exciting day meeting a Roman soldier. They were all given Roman names and found out about the armour and weapons that Roman soldiers used. They even had a go at marching in formation. It was a great experience for all the children and helped to give them a real insight into Roman soldier life.
