A little update from Kode
Club to share the exciting news that we have won 5 new Raspberry Pis for
school!! As part of the ‘Hour of Code’ initiative, the Raspberry Pi foundation
opened up a competition to all schools in England to win some Raspberry Pis for
their schools. All we had to do was complete one hour of programming and share
what we achieved. For the hour, we had a go at recreating the PACMAN game using
scratch – a definite challenge! With over 750 registered schools and 15,000
children coding we could only hope. However, a month later, an email dropped
into Miss Downs’ box to tell us that we had won 5!! Each kit comes with the Pi,
a case and a project book. Well done Kode Club.
