Year 5 look into poo! (Yes Poo!)
As part of our Topic, Ancient Egypt, in Year 5 we have been taking on the role of archaeologists. We have learnt that archaeologists use a number of methods to help discover and learn about the past. A great way to understand more about humans from the past is to learn about what they ate. We therefore analysed different coprolites (poo!) from various time periods in history. We worked scientifically, predicting what food remnants we had identified, recording our findings in tables. A great afternoon was had by all!
