On a bitterly cold Thursday 24th November some of the Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils took part in a Girls' Football Competition at Woodlands School and played against a variety of other schools. Isla and Imogen did a great job in defense making sure the other teams didn't score through some super challenges. Ellen was brilliant in goal, clearing the ball from her area to her team mates. Molly had a great attitude and Tessa was a great team player, always stopping the ball from going the wrong way. Charlie received woman of the match and despite the ball hitting her twice in the same place, played very well. Isabelle was great at communicating to her team in defense and Kayla was happy to play in any position required. Fern was very competitive and worked superbly as a member of the team. We had a great time at the competition and can't wait to play again!
