Over the last week, from foundation stage right through to Year 6, have participated in Hour of Code – an initiative to encourage all children to get ‘Switched On’ with the principles and ideas of programming. From Light Bot and Minecraft, to Scratch Interactive Christmas Cards and Python coding, the children have thoroughly enjoyed themselves (especially as it seems just like playing a game!) We would encourage all children, big or small, girl or boy to continue to ‘Play’ at home – after all it really is the best type of learning!
