On Thursday 17th November, Year 6 joined thousands of other schools across the country taking part in the BBC Live science lessons. Hosted by CBBC's Leah Boleto and Ben Shires, and featuring science presenter Steve Mould, the Live Lesson focused around this term's science topic of electricity. It helped pupils learn how to think and work scientifically - including planning, measuring, observing changes, controlling variables and using test results. During the course of the lesson, as well as having a few giggles, children explored the electrical conductivity of materials, constructed and changing simple series circuits and using electrical symbols with some fun, interactive activities.
