On Friday 9th November our Year 6 visited The Holocaust Center to see 'The Journey', in support of their current topic - World War 2. The interactive museum took the children into the life of a Jewish child living in Berlin at the start of the war and proved to be a very thought provoking and enjoyable day. The children learnt a great deal of historical facts balanced with exploring sensitive feelings.The children behaved impeccably, used some fantastic vocabulary in posing some brilliant questions and showed incredible empathy and understanding. What a fantastic day!
