DCSSP Festival of Dance

On Thursday 8th March, 30 children from year 6 went to the Riverside Centre (Derby) to perform at our local dance festival, in front of 22 other schools, parents and staff. Leading up to the big moment when it would be our turn on stage, we were all really nervous. However, once we were up it was our time to shine. Having loads of fun, our nerves melted away as we danced to our beach themed song "Surfs Up", wearing shorts and tshirts (despite the fact it was raining outside). It was the best afternoon ever and we really gave it our all. A huge thankyou to Mrs Brundish for organising, choreographing and giving up her time to take us. We had a fabulous time.  Aasia and Kara
