On Friday 9th March, Barn Owls had a visit from the scientist, Mr Jez Turner. He explained about the force called gravity, and other forces that apply to air-resistance. He also explained about Space and how mass affects the orbit a thing has on something else. We experimented with this concept by stretching a bin bag and dropping objects with different masses. The he took to the skies as we learnt about gravity and fiction. He showed us some amazing skills as he did some death-defying tricks to show how gravity and friction work together in air-resistance.
