Summer Reading Challenge

Over the summer holidays we are asking that all children take part in the ‘Silverhill Summer Reading Challenge’. The aim of the challenge is to get children to read at least six books during the summer holidays. The purpose of this challenge is to promote a healthy ‘love of reading’ and to encourage everyone to continue to practise their reading skills during the holidays.

Please look out for details of our Summer Reading Challenge in the information pack that was sent out in the last week of term, explaining what is involved! There are books to be read and prizes to be won!

Leavers #team6'16

At the end of another very busy year at Silverhill we say so long and farewell to our super #Team6'16 pupils who now move on to pastures new. After working exceptionally hard through the new curriculum SATs, achieving excellent results and putting on a leavers production to be very proud of, the whole school lined the playground to hear their final song before they clapped the children out towards their parents. Well done Year 6 - you made us very proud, good bye and good luck to you all! Have a wonderful summer everyone! We also say goodbye and good luck to Mrs Richardson in her new job and lots of love and luck to Mrs McBride as she welcomes her second baby into the world; we can't wait to hear your news!
